starting in AY2024.<br \/>\n*The &#8220;Open Forum&#8221; previously used for announcements will be discontinued.<\/p>\n<dl class=\"memo\">\n<dt>memo<\/dt>\n<dd>\u30fbDue to the change, &#8220;Show recent posts on course page&#8221; is no longer available<\/dd>\n<dd>\u30fbAnnouncements forum does not accept replies from students<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<dl class=\"memo\">\n<dt>memo<\/dt>\n<p>If you check the &#8220;Show description on course page&#8221; checkbox, the information in the &#8220;Description&#8221; field will be displayed on the course page.<\/p>\n<dd>\n<h5>Example of the use of the &#8220;Description&#8221; field<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Update date and time in the description field<\/li>\n<li>Remind students not to unread<\/li>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wnpspt.waseda.jp\/teacher_en\/wsdmoodle\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/04\/a4.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">image<\/a>\n<\/ul>\n<\/dd>\n<h3>Notification on the dashboard screen that you have posted an announcement<\/h3>\n<p>When a faculty member adds a discussion topic to an announcement, a notification will appear on the student&#8217;s Moodle dashboard.<br \/>\nThis allows students to be aware of the availability of announcements without having to access each course.<\/p>\n<dl class=\"memo\">\n<dt>memo<\/dt>\n<dd>\u30fbPreviously, only email notifications were available.<\/dd>\n<dd>\u30fbAs with email notifications, <a href=\"https:\/\/wnpspt.waseda.jp\/teacher_en\/wsdmoodle\/2023\/02\/14\/11-01-02-email-settings-subscription-mode-to-expand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;subscription mode&#8221;
