- SEB cannot completely prevent cheating. Please use this feature with a full understanding of its limitations.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- When using SEB for quizzes, inform students in advance to install SEB and conduct a test quiz to verify its operation.<\/strong>
\nEven if a pre-check is conducted, there is a possibility that SEB may not function properly during the actual exam due to PC malfunctions or other issues. Please prepare alternative measures for emergencies.<\/strong><\/li>\n- The use of SEB can be selected on a per-quiz basis in Waseda Moodle.<\/li>\n
- If SEB is enabled for a quiz, that quiz cannot be taken without using SEB.<\/li>\n
- Depending on the version of Windows or macOS, or the device used, SEB may not function properly.<\/li>\n
- SEB cannot be installed on PCs in PC rooms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\n4\uff0eRequired Preparations<\/h3>\n
To use SEB for quizzes in Waseda Moodle, simply configure the settings in the quiz setup screen. Instructions for configuration are provided later.

\n5\uff0eConfiguration Procedure in Moodle<\/h3>\n
SEB allows for detailed configuration, but it is recommended to use the existing template.

- In the quiz settings screen, select \u201cRequire the use of Safe Exam Browser\u201d \u2192 \u201cYes \u2013 Use an existing template\u201d (default is No).<\/li>\n
- It is recommended to set an optional password for the \u201cQuit password.\u201d When this password is set, students will not be able to exit SEB unless they enter the password.<\/li>\n
- It is recommended to leave other SEB settings at their default values.
