Download the macOS installer from the download page.

The installer will be downloaded automatically. Depending on your browser settings, you may need to initiate the download manually.

Double-click the downloaded DMG file to mount the virtual disk. In the window that appears, drag and drop the Safe Exam Browser icon into the Applications folder icon.


Installation is now complete.

Note: First Launch Warning
When launching Safe Exam Browser for the first time, macOS security features may display a warning.
If a confirmation pop-up appears, click “Open” to proceed.

※ Depending on your device and OS version, the screen and operations may differ.
※ Safe Exam Browser is updated regularly. Using an outdated version may result in unexpected behavior, so please be aware of this.
