16-06.How to use Waseda Moodle for off-campus users

To use WasedaMoodle for off-campus users, a special ID must be issued.

WasedaMoodle issues IDs to non-Waseda University guest users on the condition that they agree to the following terms and conditions. We do not collect a “pledge” from users, but we ask that they understand the following compliance requirements before using the site. Please respond to the following.- Refer to:

Only full-time faculty and staff are eligible to submit this application. If you are not a full-time faculty member, please consult with a full-time faculty member in the relevant area. - Handling of IDs
・In principle, IDs can only be used during the current fiscal year.
However, IDs applied for between 1/1 and 3/31 can be used until the end of the following fiscal year.
Example: If you applied on 4/1/2020, your ID is valid until 3/31/2021.
If you applied on 1/1/2021, it is valid until 3/31/2022
*If you are applying in preparation for the next fiscal year, please apply between 1/1 and 3/31.
・The ID concerned cannot use Waseda Mail.
→Please operate on the premise that you cannot receive emails linked to announcements, etc. on WasedaMoodle. - User Registration for Courses after ID Issuance
After the ID is issued, you will need to register as a user of the subject using the user number (10-digit number starting with 0000A…) of the ID in order to use Waseda Moodle. Please refer to the following manual for the user registration procedure.
ID Issuance Application Procedure
１．Log in to MyWaseda
２．Click on “IT Services” in the global menu
３．Click on “Students, Faculty, and Non-Full-time Staff” in the “System User ID (Application)” service menu on the left.
*New applications can be submitted by clicking “New Application” or “New Application (Batch)” on the left menu.
*Please select “G09WasedaMoodle Off-Campus Users” in the “User Eligibility” section of the application screen.
