(2025.08.21) Upgrades
We have upgraded moodle (4.5).
The main additions are as follows:
- Addition of character count limitation feature for assignments
When accepting assignment submissions via “Online text,” it is now possible to set character count limits for Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.
If “Online text” is enabled under “Submission type,” you can choose whether to apply a character limit. By ticking the checkbox and entering a specified number, students will only be able to enter up to that number of characters. Please note that the character count displayed on the student submission screen may differ slightly from the actual enforcement logic of this limit. For more details, click here.
- Addition of subsection feature
It is now possible to create subsections within a section. This helps organize content more effectively within each section.
To add a subsection, click the “＋” icon in the relevant section and select “Subsection.” The second image shows an example of how subsections can be used.
- Addition of screen recording feature
You can now record your screen and attach the recorded video directly. The maximum recording time is 2 minutes.
The image shown here is from the assignment settings screen. Click the video icon and then select “Record screen.”
