Center for Entrepreneurship

Features of the Center for Entrepreneurship

The Center for Entrepreneurship provides various types of support for students who wish to start their own businesses based on their original ideas and university research results. The center offers workshops and various programs to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, consultations on entrepreneurship, business consultations by lawyers, certified public accountants, and other professional consultants (free consultations are limited in number), and space for entrepreneurial activities. We have a full support system in place to meet any stage of your entrepreneurship.

The center is located in Bldg. 19-3, and in addition to an “open space” for those interested in starting a business to gather information and conduct preparatory activities, when the idea of starting a business becomes a reality, “community members” (charged and subject to screening) can use the co-working space “WASEDA Startup Lounge” with its excellent office facilities as a base for their businesses.

Livesense Corporation, led by Taichi Murakami, the youngest ever CEO of a company listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and UserLocal Corporation, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers in 2017 as a company providing information through big data analysis and AI, are also companies which have emerged from our center. If you are interested in or aspire to start a business, please take the first step and consult with the Center for Entrepreneurship (advance reservation required).
