It is important to be prepared on a daily basis for disasters that may occur at any time and in any place. Waseda University has prepared a “Major Earthquake Response Manual (Japanese)”. This manual can be viewed from various devices such as cell phones. Please be sure to save the website to your cell phone or other device in case of an emergency.

Evacuation sites at universities
In the event of an earthquake, in principle, please stay in the building you are in. If there is a fire in the building and it is dangerous to stay there, go to a temporary evacuation site according to the table below.
