How to send an email to your course enrollees
If you would like to send an email to those enrolled in the course, you can use the announcements to send an email.
- By setting the subscription mode to compulsory subscription, enrollees will be compulsorily subscribed and announcements will be emailed to them.
- If you have created an announcement for a group, it will be emailed to those enrolled in that group.

- If you want to specify the date and time the notification email should be sent (when the topic starts to appear), set the “Display Period” under Use Advanced Editors and Additional Options.

- There is no ability to send an email to a student’s emergency contact information.
